The theme of The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan is to always believe in yourself and your talents. The reason I think this is the central idea is because throughout the story the characters have to believe in themselves to conquer the task they are trying to accomplish. One Example of this is when Leo is trying to fix Festus. But to fix Festus, he has to believe that he can do it with his talent. He is not very confident in himself, so he has to believe that he can do it. He has to have hope. Another example of believing in is Piper. Piper has the talent to convince people of anything she ants. She has convinced people to give her a car before and she is then accused of stealing. During one part Piper has to convince people but she is so nervous so Leo and Jason have to believe in her and this makes Piper believe in herself too.“ See they think you’re broken and have to be scrapped. But I don’t believe that. I can fix you if you’ll let me.. You’ll have to trust me” (Riordan 150).

My article tells you about this book and why you should read it. I higly agree with the article. This book is suspensful and action, but also has a little bit of romance as well.
